AIB Clover VeriFone v240 GPRS Setup

Ensure that the SIM card is inserted into SIM slot 1 in the top-left hand corner as shown below.

Reboot the card terminal by holding down the red cross button on the keypad. This will display a power panel after 5-10 seconds. Select Reboot/Restart.

On the sale screen, press the blue box at the top of the screen.

This will display a main menu. Press the down arrow on the screen (if required), followed by Configuration.

Enter your terminal password followed by the green button.

Select Communication.

From the communication panel press More.

 

Select Network Interface.

Select Mobile Data.

Select Mobile Settings.

Ensure that the SIM slot is set to SIM slot 1.

Select APN and enter verifone.inc.cxn all in lowercase using your keypad. To bring up the letters keep pressing the corresponding number on the keypad. It will cycle through capital letters followed by lower case. Full stops can be found by pressing the number 1 key. Press ok once entered.

Select PPP username and enter web all in lowercase. Press ok once entered.

Select PPP password and enter web all in lowercase. Press ok once entered.

Press save in the bottom-right hand corner of the screen.

Press ok.

Press Yes on the apply settings screen.

If successful the terminal should show interface started. Press Ok.
