Chargebacks
A chargeback is the return of money from you to the cardholder from a previously cleared transaction.
This is done when the cardholder advises their issuing bank that they want to dispute a transaction, so the issuing will credit the cardholder and your account is then debited.
Reasons a cardholder would pursue a chargeback include, but are not limited to:
Fraud - The cardholder claims that they did not make the transaction.
Non-delivery - The cardholder claims they did not receive the goods or service.
Quality - The cardholder claims that the goods/services delivered were below the quality that they were expecting.
When a chargeback is raised, it is between you, the acquiring bank, and issuing bank to resolve between yourselves. Card Saver cannot dispute any chargebacks on your behalf. We can only guide you in the direction of the chargeback department at your acquiring bank for assistance.
