Clover Elavon Paynt PAX A920 Contactless Troubleshooting

Have you attempted more than one card? This would confirm if the fault is with a particular customers card or the terminal.

Hold down the power button on the right-hand side of the terminal as below.

This will display a power panel. Press restart.

Attempt a transaction for 1p to test.

When holding the card over the screen ensure that all 4 segments at the top are lit up before pulling the card away. If the card is taken away too quickly you will get a "card number not read properly" error.
