A Pre-Auth is when you reserve the funds from your customer. This will then need to be followed by a Completion when you are ready to actually take them.
From the main menu press the icon with the lines in the bottom-middle of the screen.
Select Pre-Authorization..jpg?width=190&height=302&name=rtaImage%20(7).jpg)
If at this point the Pre-Auth option does not appear please e-mail tech.support@card-saver.co.uk for assistance.
Enter the amount using the terminal keypad and press the green button..jpg?width=201&height=352&name=rtaImage%20(1).jpg)
The terminal will prompt for the card to be presented.
A Completion will then need to be carried out when you are wanting to take the funds from your customer.
From the main menu press the icon with the lines in the bottom-middle of the screen.
Select Completion.
Enter the amount using the terminal keypad and press the green button.
The terminal will prompt for the auth code from the merchant receipt that printed during the pre-auth transaction.
